Tis the season to be Merry and Bright… here at Casa Mady we strive to keep it joyful and lighted at all times! Its the motto I live by and chose to maintain. Live each day as if its my last and keeping my home joyous makes others who visit feel it too. I’m often told how cozy and warm my home makes them feel and its exactly what I love to hear because its the Lords way of telling me that he is here!

It really doesn’t take much, its mostly putting your heart and love into everything you do. So lets treasure the moment, live the precious present and give lots of love to everyone today and always! Happy Decorating!

My current crazyness!

I just sit and enjoy the view each and every step… and help a few friends & family members with theirs.

It’s the gift giving, thanking & appreciating you time of year, and why not consider those you know and follow more than exploring for some of your Christmas/Holiday gifts from them. We’ve been courageous to withstand the total disruption of our daily lives and some have prevailed to unsurpassed levels but others have not. Our small business’ have surely suffered the most and they need us now more than ever.

Just a few days ago I received a Secret Santa 🎅🏽 message amongst friends I had never participated in. Its an online version but it felt like a great way to spread cheer so I immediately said yes. Our office is still on return phase but some states/countries have more resteictions than others and we’ll be limiting our gatherings to protect our most vulnerable but regardless of all these trials and tribulations we still have love and hope in our hearts for this miraculous season we await with such joy each year. It doesn’t matter where you are, what your heritage is nor what you celebrate it just feels good to give. The best part of the fun is what to get and where to get it from.

The perfect gift is one that will give the recipient a warm feeling because they’ll know your thoughts were focused on their happiness.

Your asked to use Amazon to send your gift but we all agreed that buying something from a small business would be far more rewarding. So my post today will include a list of some of my dear friends and others I follow, fellow bloggers to shop & help them out this season as well. Enjoy the moment, the process and as Mother Theresa said it’s not about how much you give but how much love we put into giving.

I truly love and look forward awaking before the sun with just enough time to catch those burst of lights that get diverted through the morning clouds to create their magical tones and paint the sky with a glow that inspires me. I’m blessed with a second floor and with views from both East and West giving me a birds eye view of the rising and setting of my Astral signs planet!

I must have hundreds of photos I’ve snapped throughout the 10 years I’ve now been living in this home that was formerly my mothers. I still feel her vibes through its walls and I’m compelled to continue her cozy cottage legacy as I renew and revive her into Casa Mady.

Each morning I hear the birds sing, watch them bathe on the pool steps and dry on the power lines ever so slightly hoping its mom and her crew watchimg over us. And it may sound crazy but both my sister and I have had birdie experiences that assure us she’s here!

We are at peace with the time she was here with us in the physical form and my heart enlarges each time I re-enact the yearly traditions she so loved but more than that I see her reflection in that morning sun when it hits the sunroom and warms my soul. Miss you mamita.
